Part 3 Test

Consists of teaching the examiner for 1 hour at two different levels, which can be chosen from any of the following abilities: beginner, partly trained, near test standard, at test standard or a qualified driver undertaking driver development training.

Part 3 Course

The Part 3 course provides a minimum of 40 hours ‘in-car’ training (90%) and classroom tuition (10%), a full colour visual aid (which will become invaluable once qualified), and a comprehensive manual covering the full syllabus.

This section provides training on: ‘in-car’ etiquette, communication skills and terminology, question and answer (Q & A) techniques, accurate assessment and correction of the learner driver’s faults (core competencies), feedback and encouragement, lesson structure and planning and control of lessons.

‘In-car’ training will be professionally conducted in a role-play style by your trainer at the beginner and partly trained stages, concluding with the trained, qualified driver and how to dual control a pupil.

This course not only prepares you for the Part 3 test, it will also give you a solid foundation once qualified, to be successful in the industry for many years to come.

All of your ‘in-car’ training will be carried out in the city nearest to you, in one of our vehicles unless otherwise agreed.

There will never be more than two trainees to one trainer in the car.

All additional training will be given free of charge, at the discretion of the trainers.
